The United States Government should operate under a budget bound by a reasonable estimate of incoming revenue (taxes, fines, etc.) just like most American families live within the bounds of their incomes sources. Only in emergencies should we take on debt, and only with agreed upon and stable plans for paying back that debt as quickly as possible.

Immigration

The US has an immigration problem and over the years Congress failed repeatedly to craft and pass meaningful legislation to resolve immigration issues. Instead immigration became a partisan battleground with your representatives spending more time blaming the other party for the situation and spending no effort actually addressing the problem. This has to stop.
